Privacy practices

Affinity Search Partners recruits IT and information systems professionals for employers, filling contract, contract-to-hire, permanent and leadership roles. Our office is at 5115 Maryland Way, Suite 121, Brentwood, TN 37027.

These practices apply to this website and to the business emails our company sends.

We contact people at companies whose jobs connect to the hiring we help with. We write to their work email address, and now and then we may call a business line or post a letter to the business address. We only do this when our work might be relevant to them, and we stop as soon as someone asks.

• Business contact details where they are available: name, job title, employer, work email address, business phone number and a link to a professional profile.
• Facts about the company, such as its industry and location.
• Public business activity, for example job postings, news items and public posts.
• The results of checks on whether a work address can receive mail.
• Messages exchanged with us and notes from our conversations.
• Visits to this website. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary technical logs, and the font service that supplies the page typeface receives the visitor's IP address.

We do not collect sensitive personal information.

Public sources such as company websites, job boards, news coverage and professional networking profiles; commercial providers of business data; and the person directly, when they answer one of our messages, complete a form or talk with us.

• Deciding whether our services are likely to matter to someone.
• Contacting that person in their work capacity.
• Confirming a work address is valid before a message goes out.
• Answering replies and, where the person wants it, talking about or delivering our services.
• Maintaining our do-not-contact list.
• Keeping our systems secure and meeting legal obligations.

We do not track whether our emails are opened.

Reply to any of our emails, worded however you like, or tell the person who calls you. We act on it promptly, and in every case within 10 business days. Your name and address then stay on our do-not-contact list, which keeps us from contacting you again whatever source your details later come from.

We never sell or rent personal information, and we never pass it to other companies for their marketing or for targeted advertising. It goes only to:

• Service providers working on our behalf (email and mailbox services, address verification, business data providers, hosting and storage), who may use it for that work and nothing else.
• Public authorities, where the law requires it or where needed to protect rights and safety.
• A buyer or successor of our business, who must honor these practices.

Prospect information stays only while it remains useful, and we delete records that have gone stale. Records about clients stay as long as the engagement and our legal and accounting duties need them. Do-not-contact entries stay for as long as we contact businesses at all.

Access is restricted to those who need it, and we use reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that yours will never be exposed.

You may ask what we hold about you and where we got it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deletion covers everything except your do-not-contact entry, which we keep so that we honor your request.

Depending on the state where you live, you may have further rights to know, correct and delete, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (something we do not do). Using any of these rights will not change how we treat you.

Send a request by replying to one of our emails, through the form at affinitysearchpartners.com/contact, or by post to our office. We may ask you to confirm the address we wrote to. We answer within the time the law allows, and an authorized agent may make a request for you.

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.

We operate in the United States from Tennessee. Our service providers may process information wherever they operate.

When these practices change, we revise the date shown at the top of this page.
